A limited edition artist book of the project, On Borrowed Time. In conversation with Kennedy White House sympathy stationery I inherited from my mom, On Borrowed Time considers grief in an intimate scale. The language used within each work is derived from end of life utterances, the words of hospital doctors and hospice nurses, and phrases that lodged themselves in my mind after her death. This fragmentary writing calls upon read and unread messages – the incomplete communications that exist throughout our lives.
